**Key facts**

- A Sloosh template is a published image or video together with its recipe: the prompt, the references and the model settings that made it.
- Sloosh templates are either curated (Sloosh's own picks) or community templates published by other people.
- Recreate on a Sloosh template fills Studio with the same prompt, references and settings, and costs nothing until you press Generate.
- Only results with a stored recipe can be published as Sloosh templates: Studio images and videos, space runs and full Spacelab canvas runs.

## What a template is

A template is a finished image or video that someone published, together with its recipe: the prompt, the references and the model settings. Sloosh's own picks are marked as curated; the rest come from the community.

## Recreate one

![Two template cards in Studio's Templates tab; hovering one shows a yellow Recreate button](https://sloosh.ai/docs/studio-templates-recreate.webp)

_Hover a card for Recreate, or click it to see the prompt and settings first._

1. Open the Templates tab in [Image](https://sloosh.ai/studio/image) or [Video](https://sloosh.ai/studio/video), or browse [Templates](https://sloosh.ai/templates) and [Home](https://sloosh.ai/).
2. Click a card to see its Details: the prompt used, the model and the size.
3. Press Recreate. Studio fills in the same prompt, references and settings.
4. Change what you want, such as swapping in your own product photo, and press Generate.

Recreate costs nothing until you press Generate, and the button shows the cost first.

## Templates in a space

A space's Templates tab lists results made with that space. Recreate there fills in the space's form with the same inputs, so you can swap one and run it.

## Publish your own

![The foot of the Details panel: Recreate and Reuse buttons, an option to include all outputs from the run, and a yellow Publish button](https://sloosh.ai/docs/preview-publish.webp)

Open one of your results, then press Publish at the foot of Details. When the run made several outputs, you can include them all. Anyone can then recreate it, including the photos you uploaded for it, and your first name is shown on it. To take it down, open the result again and unpublish it.

Only results with a stored recipe can be published: images and videos from Studio, runs of a space, and full runs of a Spacelab canvas.

## Frequently asked questions

### How do I use someone else's AI image prompt in Sloosh?

Open the Templates tab in Sloosh Studio, or browse [Templates](https://sloosh.ai/templates), and click a card to see its prompt, model and size. Press Recreate to load the same prompt, references and settings into Studio, then swap in your own product photo and press Generate.

### How do I publish my AI image as a template on Sloosh?

Open one of your results and press Publish at the foot of its Details panel. When the run made several outputs, you can include them all in one Sloosh template. Anyone can then recreate it, and your first name is shown on it.

### Are my uploaded photos public if I publish a Sloosh template?

Yes. A published Sloosh template carries its full recipe, so anyone can recreate it with the photos you uploaded for it. Only publish results whose reference photos you are happy to share, and unpublish from the result's Details to take it down.

### How do templates work inside a Sloosh space?

A Sloosh space's Templates tab lists results made with that space. Recreate there fills in the space's form with the same inputs, so you can swap one input, such as your own product photo, and run it.
