# What is a space

A space is a creative workflow behind a simple form. Fill in the inputs, press Generate and get the same kind of result every time.

**Key facts**

- A Sloosh space is a creative workflow built in Spacelab and published behind a form: you fill in the inputs, press Generate and get the same kind of result every time.
- A Sloosh space shows its credit cost on the Generate button before you run it, and the line under the button says what the form still needs.
- Sloosh space results appear in the space's Generations tab with your earlier runs, and Sloosh tells you when a run finishes if you leave the page.
- Batch mode on a Sloosh space runs many products at once from a folder with one subfolder per product, on the Pro or Max plan.
- Share on a finished Sloosh space run makes it public and copies a `sloo.sh/r/...` link that anyone can open without an account.

## What it is

A space is a workflow someone built in [Spacelab](https://sloosh.ai/docs/spacelab.md), published behind a form. You fill in what it asks for, such as a product photo, and it runs every step for you: the prompt, the model, the edits. You never see the canvas unless you want to.

![A space's page: the form on the left with a photo upload and scene cards, and the Overview tab on the right with the space's details, Remix and Share](https://sloosh.ai/docs/space-page.webp)

_The form is on the left; Generate sits at its foot. On the right: Overview (how the space works), Templates (results you can recreate) and Generations (your runs)._

Use a space when you want the same kind of result every time, or when someone else already solved the job. For a one-off idea, [Studio](https://sloosh.ai/docs/studio.md) is quicker.

## Run a space

1. Open one from [Home](https://sloosh.ai/) or [Spaces](https://sloosh.ai/spaces).
2. Fill in the form. A space asks only for what it needs, such as a product photo or a line of text. Fields marked * are required.
3. Press Generate. The credit cost is on the button before you press it. Until the form is complete, the line under the button says what's missing.
4. Your result shows on the same page, in the Generations tab, with your earlier runs after it. You can leave the page; Sloosh tells you when a run finishes.

You need to be signed in to run a space. If you fill in the form first, Sloosh keeps what you entered for an hour while you sign in.

## Tag your uploads in the prompt

Some spaces built on Seedance let you name your uploads in their prompt box: upload first, then type `@` and pick `@Image 1`, `@Image 2` or `@Video 1`. Remove an upload and its tag turns into `@Image ?`, which holds Generate until you fix it. Details in [Tag with @](https://sloosh.ai/docs/tagging.md#in-a-space-s-form).

## Start from a template

A space's Templates tab shows results others made with it. Recreate fills the form with that run's inputs, so you can swap in your own photo and generate. See [Templates](https://sloosh.ai/docs/templates.md).

## Run a batch

Some spaces can run many products at once. Turn on Batch above the form and pick a folder with one subfolder per product; each product runs through the space on its own. Batch needs the Pro or Max plan.

## Share a result

Share on a finished run makes that run public and copies a short `sloo.sh/r/...` link. Anyone with the link can see the result without an account.

## Remix a space

Remix copies a space's canvas into your workspace so you can change it in [Spacelab](https://sloosh.ai/docs/spacelab.md). It shows on spaces from other workspaces. If the owner keeps the canvas private, Remix is locked and the canvas is blurred.

## Make a space public or private

If you published a space, its card menu has Make public and Make private. A public space shows in the Community tab on [Spaces](https://sloosh.ai/spaces), where anyone can find and run it. You can make it private again at any time.

## Out of credits

If you don't have enough credits, Sloosh says so and offers a way forward. Owners and admins see See plans (no plan or a trial) or Top up (a paid plan). Members can check their usage.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the difference between a Sloosh space and Sloosh Studio?

A Sloosh space runs a multi-step workflow someone already built, from a simple form, and gives the same kind of result every time. Sloosh [Studio](https://sloosh.ai/docs/studio.md) is one prompt, one model and one result, so it is quicker for a one-off idea.

### Do I need an account to run a Sloosh space?

Yes, you need to be signed in to run a Sloosh space. If you fill in the form before you sign in, Sloosh keeps what you entered for an hour while you sign in, so you don't have to start again.

### How do I run one Sloosh space on many products at once?

Turn on Batch above the space's form and pick a folder with one subfolder per product. Each product then runs through the Sloosh space on its own. Batch needs the Pro or Max plan, and only some spaces offer it.

### Can I edit a Sloosh space someone else made?

Not directly, but Remix copies a Sloosh space's canvas into your workspace so you can change it in [Spacelab](https://sloosh.ai/docs/spacelab.md). Remix shows on spaces from other workspaces. If the owner keeps the canvas private, Remix is locked and the canvas is blurred.

### How do I make my Sloosh space public?

Open the card menu of a space you published and choose Make public. A public Sloosh space shows in the Community tab on [Spaces](https://sloosh.ai/spaces), where anyone can find and run it. Make private on the same menu hides it again at any time.

### What happens if I run out of credits on a Sloosh space?

Sloosh tells you when you don't have enough credits for a space run and offers a way forward. Owners and admins see See plans if the workspace has no plan or a trial, or Top up on a paid plan. Members can check their usage.
