# Calypso Pick an edit you love and add your characters. Claude remakes it with them through Sloosh: same cuts, same timing, same energy, new star. The reference brings the structure: every cut, its timing, the camera moves, the text on screen and the music. Your photos bring who is in it. In Templates, hover Built for This and press Recreate. It lands in the form as the reference edit. 2. Under Characters, upload one clear photo of the person who should star in it. 3. In Additional instructions, write: `Set it on a rooftop basketball court at sunset. Keep the energy, write new words.` 4. Press Connect to Claude Motion, then Open Claude Desktop (or Use Claude on the web). 5. In Claude, press send. Claude says what the reference does and what the edit will cost, then makes it. 6. When it is done, the edit plays in the chat. It is also in your Assets, ready to download. There are two ways to give one: - A template: Templates holds edits ready to remake. Press ▶ to watch one, Recreate to put it in the form. Change swaps it for another. - Your own video: drop it on Your reference video. Any video file up to 60 seconds works; edits with clear cuts and a strong beat remake best. Use only videos you made or have the right to use. ## Add your characters Characters are the people (or mascots, or pets) who star in your version. Add 1 to 10 photos, PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF or HEIC; the counter shows how many are in. Pick from your uploads, generations and [AI Influencers](https://sloosh.ai/docs/ai-influencer.md), or upload new ones. Use a sharp, front-facing photo of each one, alone in the frame. Leave it empty and Claude keeps the reference as it is, with your characters in it. ## Hand it to Claude Once there is a reference and at least one character, press Connect to Claude Motion. Calypso uploads your photos and prepares the request, then shows Your prompt is ready: Open Claude Desktop starts a new chat in the Claude app, Use Claude on the web opens claude.ai, and Copy prompt copies it for any chat. If Claude was connected without permission to run and generate, it says Reconnect Sloosh to Claude: remove Sloosh from Claude, add it again and allow every permission. ## What Claude does 1. Reads the reference frame by frame: every cut, the beat, the camera and the text on screen. It tells you in a few lines what the edit does and what it will keep. 2. Plans your version shot by shot, generating only as many seconds as the edit needs. 3. Generates the footage with Seedance 2.5 at 720p, starting with one test shot and checking it before it makes the rest. 4. Cuts it to the reference's timing and audio, then checks every frame of the result. 5. Saves the edit to Sloosh and plays it in the chat, with what it made and the credits it spent. A remake takes a few minutes, longer for a long reference. You can leave the chat open and come back. ## Cost Before the first generation Claude tells you the planned total: every quote, plus room for one retry. Your daily spending limit always applies.
