**Pick who is on camera, write what they say, and Synora makes them say it, in that voice, with their lips in sync.** No camera, no studio and no retakes. Just a face, a voice and a script.

_Made with Synora: a character in the Podcast studio scene, saying a script in a library voice._

## TL;DR

- **What it is:** Synora is a Sloosh page that makes a talking video from a character, a voice and a script.
- **Who can talk:** a photo of a face, or one of your [AI Influencers](https://sloosh.ai/ai-influencer).
- **In what voice:** a ready-made voice, your own cloned voice from [Audio Studio](https://sloosh.ai/blog/introducing-audio-studio), the character's saved voice, or a recording you upload.
- **How long:** 4 to 30 seconds per video, in 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9, at 480p, 720p or 1080p.
- **Where:** [sloosh.ai/synora](https://sloosh.ai/synora). Open it from the Creator menu.

## Why we built Synora

A lot of the videos that sell are someone talking to the camera: a review, a quick explainer, a founder saying why the product exists. They are also the hardest to make. You need a person, a quiet room, good light, and twenty takes to get one clean line.

AI video got the faces right, but the voices stayed wrong. The voice drifted between clips, the mouth didn't match the words, and the same character sounded like a different person in every video.

Synora fixes the part that matters: **one character, one voice, and lips that match every word.** Anyone can now talk perfectly with anyone. Your character speaks for your brand in your voice, or in any voice you choose, every time.

## How it works, in four steps

### 1. Pick a character

Press **Character** and choose who is on camera. Upload a clear photo of a face, or open **Influencers** and pick a character you built with [AI Influencer](https://sloosh.ai/ai-influencer). Need a new one? **New influencer** takes you there.

### 2. Give them a voice

Press **Voice**. You have three ways in:

- **The character's own voice.** An AI Influencer that already has a voice brings it along, so they sound the same in every video.
- **Choose a voice.** Browse the **Library** of ready-made voices (each with its gender, accent and a ▶ sample), or **My voices** for voices you cloned.
- **Upload audio.** Use a real recording, MP3, WAV or M4A, from 4 to 30 seconds. Synora uses it as it is.

### 3. Write what they say

Type the script, up to about 30 seconds of speech. Tags in square brackets direct the delivery: `[laughs]`, `[excited]`, `[whispers]`. Press **Auto-tag** and Sloosh adds them for you.

Press **Generate audio** to hear a take before you make the video. Make a few takes and keep the best one.

> **Tip: Example script.** "Hi, I'm Maya. [laughs] Okay, real talk: this jacket survived three flights, one rainstorm and my little brother. It still looks brand new."

### 4. Set the scene and generate

Choose where they are: **Podcast studio, White studio, Café, Night street, Selfie vlog, Park bench, Golden-hour handheld, Train window**, or **Custom** for your own scene. Add optional direction in **Additional instructions**, for example "They laugh and lean toward the camera as the shot slowly pushes in." Pick the aspect ratio, resolution and length, then press **Generate video**. The finished video lands in **Generations**.

## Built on the rest of Sloosh

- [**AI Influencer**](https://sloosh.ai/ai-influencer) gives you a character that looks the same every time.
- [**Audio Studio**](https://sloosh.ai/blog/introducing-audio-studio) gives that character a voice that sounds the same every time, including your own cloned voice.
- **Synora** puts the two together on camera.

## Use it responsibly

Only use a face and a voice you own, or one whose owner has agreed. Never use a child's face or voice, or a public figure's. Where you post, say that the video was made with AI if the platform asks you to.

## Try it

Open [**Synora**](https://sloosh.ai/synora), pick a template and press Recreate, or start from your own character. The [**Synora docs**](https://sloosh.ai/docs/synora) walk through every setting.

## FAQ

**What is Synora?**

Synora is Sloosh's talking-video tool. You pick a character, a voice and a script, and it makes a video of that character saying your words on camera with lips in sync, up to 30 seconds.

**Can I make a Synora video in my own voice?**

Yes. Clone your voice once with Add my voice in Audio Studio, then pick it under Voice → Choose a voice → My voices. Or upload a recording of yourself with Upload audio.

**Can my AI Influencer talk?**

Yes. Pick them under Character → Influencers. If they have a voice, Synora offers it first, so they sound the same in every video.

**How long can a Synora video be?**

From 4 to 30 seconds. The video is never shorter than its audio. For longer pieces, make several clips and join them in your editor.

**What formats and resolutions does Synora support?**

Aspect ratios 9:16 (Reels, TikTok, Shorts), 1:1 and 16:9 (YouTube), at Low (480p), High (720p) or 1080p.

**Which languages can my character speak?**

Any language the chosen voice speaks. Write the script in that language, or upload a recording in any language.

**How much does Synora cost?**

Synora uses Sloosh credits. Generate audio and Generate video both show the cost before you press them, and the price grows with length and resolution. A failed generation gives its credits back. See pricing.

**Do I need to film anything?**

No. A photo of a face, or an AI Influencer, is enough.
