# Introducing Calypso: remake any video edit with your own characters Sloosh Calypso remakes a video edit you love with your own characters. Remaking one by hand means a shoot, a location and an editor rebuilding every cut. Calypso gives the whole job to Claude. Open Calypso Open the Creator menu in the top bar and pick Calypso. Pick a reference edit The reference is the edit Calypso copies: every cut, its timing, the camera moves, the text on screen and the music. Hover a template and press Recreate, and it lands in the form. To remake your own clip instead, drop it on Your reference video. Any video up to 60 seconds works. ### 3. Add your characters Upload 1 to 10 photos of whoever should star in it: you, your founder, your mascot, your dog. A sharp, front-facing photo of each one works best. You can also pick from your uploads, your generations or your [AI Influencers](https://sloosh.ai/docs/ai-influencer). ### 4. Add a twist (optional) Additional instructions is for anything that should change, such as a new place, a different mood or new words on screen. Leave it empty and Claude keeps the reference as it is, with your characters in it. Hand it to Claude Press Connect to Claude Motion. Your edit opens in a new Claude chat with everything filled in, in Claude Desktop or on the web. Press send. It tells you in a few lines what the edit does and what it will keep, then: - plans your version shot by shot, generating only as many seconds as the edit needs - makes one test shot with Seedance 2.5 and checks it before it makes the rest - cuts the footage to the reference's timing and lays the original audio under it - checks every frame of the finished edit The edit plays in the chat when it's done.
